Ried Falkenberg 1ÖTW
Weissburgunder
Noblesse & depth – the Falkenberg is the home to this timeless grape variety. Coolness, substance and timelessness are its signature.
Falkenberg, a high plateau on Vienna’s Bisamberg, is a guarantor for depth and elegance. The particular altitude of the vineyards, interspersed with forests, as well as the great wealth of shell limestone sediments characterize a Burgundian style of wine. This particular significance ennobles the vineyard as 1ÖTW. (First site of the Austrian Traditional Wineries)
The wine matures in the barrel for approximately 18 months and is bottled without any treatments and sterile filtration.
