History & Vision


Partly behind the Buffet, partly in the kitchen, our dedicated team work and leaves nothing to chance with experienced kitchen craftmanship.
In addition to the classic delicacies from the buffet, seasonally changing dishes are prepared fresh from the kitchen.


The Viennese Heuriger becomes UNESCO cultural heritage.


The Heurige Christ belongs to the circle of the newly founded Viennese TOP Heurigen.



The wine cellar moves from the Kellergasse to Großjedlersdorf and provides the shortest way from the barrel to the glass since then.



At 2 tables in the private kitchen, the guests were welcome for 14 days in spring and autumn.


Rainer Christ becomes Austria’s Heurigenwirt of the year.


Expansion and adaption of the guest garden and the parlours. Our vinotheque starts operating.


For the first time a separate restaurant is built for our guests. This part still forms the heart around the “Alte Schank”.
