Bisamberg
Wiener Gemischter Satz DAC
The ripe Viennese Classic – a unicum, which could not be more distinctive. Maturity and minerality combined in one Wine.
The „Bisamberg Wiener Gemischter Satz“ comes from the Ried Wiesthalen, one of the oldest locations at the Bisamberg. This vineyard, majestically perched high above Vienna, is home to vineyards with around 60-years old Vines.
The old vines manage only the smallest yields. The grapes, in turn, year to year, are characterized by particular concentration and enrichment, as well as maturity and minerality.
This wine is characterized especially by its diversity of grape varieties. Grüner Veltliner, Neuburger, Riesling, Roter Veltliner, Traminer, Weißburgunder and many more produce an outstanding, multi-layered and complex wine.
The soils are rich in clay minerals with crystallin influences, giving the wine a unique minerality.
