Ried Wiesthalen
The Wiesthalen vineyard is one of the oldest sites on the Bisamberg.
This vineyard, majestically perched high above Vienna, is nowadays home to the „Methuselah“ of our vineyards with over 80-year-old vines.
The elongated slope has a special solid formation. Millions of years-old flysch sandstone, coral limestone and the richness of clay minerals shift from the bottom to the top of the vineyards. The wooden hilltops provide cool breezes and ensure precision and freshness. This particular significant, as it distinguishes the vineyard as 1ÖTW. (First site of the Austrian Traditional Wineries)
